Barra and Blue Water Fishing

Our lodge location

Our lodge is located 233 km east north east of Darwin  in the NT AUSTand 109 km east south east of Cape Don in coburg national park, Arnhem land. The first thing that strikes you from the air is the enormity of the estuary system surrounding Endyalgout Island and the Mini Mini.

The biggest river, delta system along the entire Northern Territory top end coast. the western end of the island protrudes into Vandiemen Gulf with the opposite end fitting snugly into a huge estuary system. The waters around the island are pitted with small creeks and gutters. fishing just one of the thousands of gutters for Barramundi, you can turn up anything from Barra-Barramundi Golden Snapper, Threadfin Salmon, Tarpon, Queenfish, Trevally, etc.  There are numerous deep holes in the waterways that surround the island and these are home to some realy good Jewfish and other xos beasts,  Cod and Grouper.
